Brief Bio
Jorge Bernardino received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Coimbra in 2002. He is currently a coordinator professor with the Polytechnic of Coimbra - ISEC (Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra), Portugal. From 2005 to 2010, he was president of ISEC. In 2014, he was a visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), USA. From 2017 to 2019, he was also president of the ISEC Scientific Council. He was the director of the Applied Research Institute (i2A), Polytechnic of Coimbra, from 2019 to 2021. David Aveiro is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering at the University of Madeira (UMa) in Portugal. His research interests include enterprise engineering and digital innovation. He teaches subjects in undergraduate and master degrees in informatics engineering in the areas of enterprise engineering, information systems, database management systems and decision support systems. David holds a Master's and Doctor's degree in Informatics Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon and coordinates several European and national funded research and digital innovation projects, both at the University of Madeira and at the Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology and Innovation (ARDITI). ... Brief Bio
Antonella Poggi is an associate professor at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome. Her research interests include database theory, data integration, knowledge representation and management, personal information management, ontologies, knowledge graphs, data provenance, semi-structured data, digital humanities and open data. She is (co)author of over 80 publications and has h-index of 28 according to Google Scholar. From 2003 to today, she has conducted and participated in various national and international research projects. In addition to being a regul ar member of the program committees of the main international conferences in her field, she has contributed to the organization of several international workshops and conferences.
